Attribution Guidelines
To ensure transparency and recognition of shared infrastructure, all users of myresearchcloud.ca must acknowledge their use of the Service in any publications, presentations, software, or other outputs that result from allocated resources.
Standard Acknowledgement
For most publications, presentations, or reports, please include the following:
“This work was supported in part through compute resources provided by myresearchcloud.ca, a service of Computing for Humanity.”
Academic Papers and Journal Articles
Place the acknowledgement in the Funding or Acknowledgement section.
Example: “The authors gratefully acknowledge compute resources provided by myresearchcloud.ca, operated by Computing for Humanity, a Canadian registered charity.”
Presentations, Posters, and Conference Talks
Include the acknowledgement in the acknowledgements slide or poster footer.
Where logos are permitted, the myresearchcloud.ca logo or the Computing for Humanity logo may be displayed.
Software and Data Releases
For GitHub repositories, software packages, or datasets that relied on our compute, include the acknowledgement in the README or citation file.
Example:
“Compute resources were provided by myresearchcloud.ca, a service of Computing for Humanity (computingforhumanity.com).”
Media, Press, and Outreach
If your project receives press coverage, interviews, or outreach, please mention that your work was supported in part by myresearchcloud.ca.
